    School Mascot

    The School mascot at Georgia Tech Monorail system is a 1930 Ford Cabriolet. In 1961, the school purchased and debuted the car.     Tumor Monorail Project

He has a bachelor’s degree from Osmania University and a Ph.D. in medical science from Brown University. He has been involved in the development of new medical technologies for several biotech startups. In the Tumor Monorail project, he is leading the clinical translation of a novel nanofiber-based catheter for brain tumor removal. Besides this, he is involved in research focusing on neovascularization and regeneration of peripheral nerves.

    The Tumor Monorail mimics the physical properties of the white matter in the brain. By tricking aggressive brain tumors into migrating through the white matter, the device could prevent the spread of the tumor. It will be a long-term treatment, as the goal is not to destroy the tumour but to slow its spread.
