Located on the northeast corner of Hardy Drive and McClintock Drive in Tempe, Arizona, the Tampax Sport Complex features lighted soccer and softball fields, as well as a concession stand. The Tempe Parks & Recreation Department and Tempe Little League partnered to create this recreational facility. Today, the Tempe Sports Complex provides a wide range of recreational opportunities for residents of Tempe and the surrounding communities.
A full-sized softball field is also available for public use, complete with bleachers, dugouts, bases, a pitcher’s mound, and fencing around the outfield fence areas. Other features of the Tempe softball field include three batting cages near center field, office space near right field, and a concession stand on the first base side.
Tampax Sport Complex also includes a dog park that offers fenced, two-acres of space for your pet to play. There are water fountains and kiddie pools for your pups’ entertainment. There are also benches and a covered picnic area for those warm and sunny days. If you are traveling with a dog, the Tampax Sport Complex has ample parking for owners and dog owners.
